9U Crush went undefeated to win the gold championship at the San Diego Winter Classic. In a pool of 14 teams, the boys finished 5–0 on the weekend, including three straight wins on Sunday that capped off nearly 10 straight hours of baseball.

Jeffrey G. led the offense, batting .727 over 11 plate appearances.

The team is now 6–0 to start the spring season and has won three tournaments in a row.
